What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations of less than 12hrs notice may attract a fee.

You can arrange to receive a text 24hrs prior to your appointment. If you are unable to attend, please text back ‘No’ as soon as possible. You can also contact our office to cancel and arrange an alternative appointment.

How often should I see my psychologist?
Initially, weekly or fortnightly appointments are typical, followed by monthly appointments once we see an improvement. This will vary depending on complexity, risks and any relapse of symptoms.

During your initial appointment, we will outline a course of treatment and expected outcomes.

Can I see another psychologist?
If you feel you are not progressing with your current psychologist, or simply not meshing, you can request to see another psychologist. It is our aim to provide the best service possible for your individual needs.

It is important to have a good rapport with your psychologist even if it means going over ground already covered. Our psychologists understand this and won’t be offended if you decide to try another psychologist.
